synopsis

Six major hostage events and the swap deals, starting with the terror attacks in the 70’s - plane hijacking, the 80s to the 2000s negotiations with the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah and finally, the aftermath of October 7th attack, the biggest hostage crisis event in modern history.

 

Each episode takes the viewer behind the scenes of the secretive negotiation process and presents the dilemmas that arise in the release of captives and abductees from a terror organization.

Strung together, the series illustrates how kidnappings and negotiations enhance and solidify the standing of terrorist groups.
